Enterprise Project Presentation

Innovative and sustainable "Enterprise Projects" were shared with and displayed to the rest of the school community by year 6 students.

An array of creative, innovative and sustainable "Enterprise Projects" were shared with and displayed to the rest of the school community by 6th year students today. With great enthsusiasm our pupils described how they came up with their own ideas and how they managed to carry them out in spite of the many difficulties they could have faced. Enterprise Project subject challenges students who have already acquired Business and Economics knowledge in previous years by making them put "hands on" the real issues of starting and carrying out their own businesses, dealing with costs, suppliers, deadlines... "Learning occurs when students construct for themselves" (Grennon-Brooks, 1987). At the primary concert which will be held in September, our children will be sharing their stands with parents.
